We're gearing up for an even bigger and better Moree Show in 2009!

Nominations now being taken for new committee members and fresh ideas  for the Moree Show 2009 to be held April 25 & 26.

The 2008 Show was a wonderful success thanks so much to the whole community for your support

More than 7000 people attended the 124th annual Moree Show on April 25 and 26.


Records were smashed across most sections.


Seasoned entertainers who travel to many shows every year said this year's Moree Show was the biggest country show they'd ever attended!

• 659 photography entries, smashing the previous record of 254 entries.
• 103 entries in the wool section.
• 38 entries in the yard dog trials.
• 51 pets entered in the pet show.
• 22 entries in U-Beaut-Ute competition.

"It was an astounding success. I've never seen a crowd as big at a Moree Show. There couldn't have been too many people left in the Moree Shire that didn't go to the show," Moree Show Society president, John Appleby.
