Congratulations Moree on a fantastic 125th Moree Show!
This year's show was one of the most successful to date with over
9,000 people through the gates and plenty of fun and action to
keep the crowds entertained.

2009 Moree Show a fantastic success!
Perfect weather, a number of new events and plenty of community spirit combined for one of
the most successful Moree Shows in recent years.
Over 9,000 people got into the show spirit, held over the ANZAC weekend, with the event marking the Moree Show's 125th Anniversary.
Moree Show President, John Appleby said that while the annual show had bounced back over
the past four years, before which heavy vandalism of the showgrounds and a lack of funds
threatened to put a stop to the whole event.
"Now in its 125th year the show is stronger than ever. Support for the show increasing each
year and it's again becoming the highlight of the community calendar."
He said the first Australian Header Demolition planned for the show was unfortunately
postponed until next year due to a lack of headers, but that all other events were extremely
successful.
