Produce Rules

All produce must be the property of and have been grown by the exhibitor or entered by a family member.

All wheat must be in the hands of the Steward or Secretary by Monday 12 April 2010, so that samples may be tested.

All exhibits must be of varieties recommended for the Moree district.

Varietal names of all seeds and grains are to be stated.

Exhibits for other grain, and other produce must be at the Moree Showground by Thursday 15 April 2010.

Entry Fee: $2

Prize Money:              First     Determined by entries

Champion 2kg of Wheat any recommended variety, exhibited at the Show - Ribbon

Most Successful Exhibitor Other Grains - Ribbon

Champion Sample of Cotton - Ribbon

WHEAT

All wheat must of the recommended varieties which were accepted into the 2009/2010 pool.

Grain will be judged to the 2009/10 Grain Trade Australia (GTA) receival standards.

Entries to be delivered to the Moree Showground prior to Monday 12 April 2010.

Entry fee to accompany entry.

No weevil-infected entry will be accepted.

Class 1             Best 2kg APH Varietal Bread Wheat

Class 2             Best 2kg DR1 Varietal Durum wheat, any recommended variety

Class 3             Best collection of Wheat - 3 recommended varieties

OTHER GRAINS

Class 4             2kg Barley, Section A: Malt, Section B: Feed.

Class 5             2kg Sorghum

Class 6             2kg Chickpeas

Class 7             2kg Faba Beans

Class 8             2kg Sunflower

Class 9             2kg of any other Grain

Class 10           Best collection of 2 Sunflower heads

Class 11           Best collection of 3 Sorghum heads

Class 12           Best collection of 3 Cotton stalks
